Time Warner Cable - Tri-County Mall in Sharonville

This project was complete in 3 days, 3 phases. Install and Configuration of ;
  • 12.5' HD Margay Cube Display 
  • 8 - 42" LCD Displays
  • 8 - Ceiling Mount Speakers to a 300 Watt Amplifier
The installation had to take place during normal business hours and could not disrupt employees or customers.

Phase 1

Click to Enlarge The first segment of the project entailed the assembly of of 9 - 50' wide screen TV's in the form of a "Cube" to allow viewing of up to 9 different channels or one channel distributed over the 9 screens. The assembly required close tolerances to ensure the most seamless image possible. The 9 assembled TV's made a single 12.5 foot TV. The screens where connect to a rack controlling system that would allow a signal distribution through Composite, HDMI, DVI, Cat5 and SVGA. The system also needed to be controlled from a remote location

Phase 2

Click to Enlarge Phase 2 of the project included the mounting and assembly of 8 - 42" LCD Displays. These where installed on an existing wall. The installation was to be made aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. The 8 Screens needed to except a video signal through a Cat5 Ethernet Connection and also be controlled through a separate Cat5 cable for data information.

Phase 3

Click to Enlarge This phase was the installation of 8 ceiling speakers in a drywall ceiling. The system is a 70v daisy chain with 2 home runs. The speakers are connected to a 300 watt amp. The audio levels and selections can be controlled remotely or locally.
